is wondering if anyone witnessesd/photographed the demolition of Stafford No4 box a week ago. I saw it half gone from a passing train on the friday but it was just a pile of bricks and scrap on the Saturday when I passed it on a northbound service. Sad (:

Just had a visit from a young signalling enthusiast. He took on Ely North Junction with minimal tuition and worked it single handed. There is hope.

Finally got my Royal Republic CD back from daughter. Was on the way to work playing it way too loud in the car!. Had to hit the pause button as there was a TVR in front I had to listen to. Music inside/music outside...nice..

has today endured rude and aggressive driving by 'White-van-man' amongst others, dithering drivers going at 25 mph on the open road home, Grockles who seem to have left their wits at home, bad road positioning, pulling out in front of one and not getting a move on, selfish/bad parking and finally in Paignton bumped into by two individuals talking/playing on their phone. All in all a jolly day!...off to do some modelling now...!

A packet of washing powder walks into a pub and asks the landlord if he can borrow a suitcase.

Not having a good day today after my incident at work I wish I could just stop having flashbacks.

Kaiser Chief tickets have arrived... I predict a riot in the Mosh pit!!

Today's earworm. Victoria by the Kinks. Top tune but I prefer the Fall's version.!

After having to endure my neighbours having a domestic dispute at 7.30 this morning, i'm suddenly reminded of the plus side of living alone.

Repeat after me: "I will not become a chequebook modeller. I will not become a chequebook modeller..."

RIP Banbury North and South signalboxes. Another 2 beautiful real boxes cruelly disposed of. Best wishes to the staff who worked there. South box already demolished, North box closed but hanging on until October.
