kirley
Kirley Junction -Zinc Ore Wagons Empty Zinc Ore wagons heading back from Foynes to Silvermines. The earlier wagons had a rack on top to support a tarpaulin which was stored at the end of the wagons when not in use. It must have been too cumbersome because it was later dispensed with.
Hunslet 102
Just had a good read about Kirley Junction tonight in the September edition of Railway Modeller. Well done Kieran, your layout is worth being in print and it was good to see the revised layout plan. 3

kirley
GNR(I) Bogie Vans. A while back I got an Alphagraphix kit of GNR(I) Guinness bogie van. My friend Gareth Brennan wanted to try a build in plasticard so he made a Guinness Van, a Grain Van and a chassis and roof with the body to be covered by the Alphagraphix kit. I did a short video highlighting these GNR(I) 28' bogie vans on Kirley Junction. 11
pat141
Oh that's lovely, i want them. Great video and the sound is very real. Did you have to add the outer frames and where do you get the lettering? Edited September 26, 2020 by pat141

kirley
KIRLEY JUNCTION –AISHA LINER My attempt to recreate the arrival of the Aisha liner at the Goods Yard at Ballina, so ‘modellers licence’ is requested. The video is 5 minutes long but I hope it’s worth sticking with. I scratch built the Acrylonitrile Tankers earlier this year.
