Gloucester Road
This was my view outside the kitchen window this morning. So I decided to go to someplace less snowy and have a pint with a nice view. It was nice a quite day at the Kings Arms until there was a gentle rumbling that had me jump up and grab my camera. 57309 Pride of Crewe was powering along the canal light engine. Standing outside I was able to catch some shots as it went by. It then headed off down the Canal I decided to pay for my drink and give chase; eventually catching 57309 outside of Woodland Heath TMD As it went by 57309 slowed by the points for the TMD entry and I decided to wait and see if it was heading in. It was. The driver shut her down inside the shed and got into the waiting van and left. I got back in the car and headed back to the snow Stephen
eastwestdivide
The photo backdrop for Woodland Heath is very effective - fits the kind of light-industrial suburbia look very well, and the hazy desaturated look works well for the impression of distance.
