flyingsignalman
Squeezed in a quick visit between work and hospital visiting today. I should have introduced myself to those RMWebbers exhibiting but I only had about an hour to go round and despite only giving the trade stands a cursory look I only just managed to achieve my time limit. So my apologies to those who saw this guy taking photos and looking at his watch before going onto the next layout - I really would have liked to have spent more time there but I couldn't! I enjoyed the show and there were a few layouts I'd not seen before (always a bonus! ) Some photos of the layouts (up to my usual high standards, you have been warned! ) Castlefinn 00n3 Stanfield N Grime St 00 Leigh Bridge 00 59th & Rust H0 Burnham-on-Sea N Coal Valley Mining G Bad Kissen H0 New Hey EM Fleminsburg Jct 0 Wulstanton Road N Thornton Road 0 West Kirby Joint EM Wirral Model Boat Club East Baston TT Smallbrook 00 Severn D'Wharves 00 West Lancs 0-gauge running track

RMweb Gold Phatbob Posted November 2, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 2, 2015 Thanks to Steve and the Merseyside posse for a great show and a fun weekend. We were there with Severn D'Wharves. Saturday went well with a full crew, but Sunday was a bit of a struggle with no spare bodies. Sincere thanks to the crew of New Hay for stepping in on Sunday to cover over lunch our friend John who was there with his layout Bad Kissin. We were able to cover on Saturday, but were short handed ourselves Sunday, so our "challenges" were much relieved when New Hay provided cover on Sunday. One of those weekends that just affirms ones love for this hobby and the kind natured people in it.
Red Devil
Can only echo Ray's comments....... Well looked after by the MMRS lads from start to finish, had a thoroughly good weekend. Women's make up? Long story and it'd probably be more than my life is worth!
