& @KNP Hiya both - please could you re-send? It transpires there are a number of messages not reached me over the past weeks/months and similarly some of my outbounds not reaching their destination, despite nothing being indicated to the contrary in my email client. What I do know is that my inbox is constantly teetering either side of above the permitted limit (it does have some leeway above the advertised limit) on account of constantly receiving large attachments day/night, and it's not uncommon that I have to take out 2 or 3 hours just to clear down particularly heavy attachments just so the inbox can continue to - allegedly - function as normal. I apologise for that.

Steve

Thanks for the heads up about your new transfers for WKT.

These have now been ordered.

6 Panniers steaming

5 Sheep a grazing

4 Pigs a sleeping

3 Crates unloading

2 Boats in harbour

And a lonely door on a loco shed

Local farmer reads headlines in newspapers.....

Have you send the Panniers?

Concern raised as they appear to be missing

Our roving reporter goes on search to find them!!!

Keep reading for latest news

When I read this I immediately thought the Panniers might be missing in action.

But then, as this is LM, I realised I was just missing inaction. . . . .

Well they say every cloud has a silver lining and in this case it's at least I know where all the panniers are.

But are you sure there are only six Panniers and when the Prairies come out to join them you will be well and truly 3F'ed and in an 'ell of a mess. 😇

6 Panniers and a Puffer

Now please sit down and take a deep breath.

I expect it was the Puffer that threw you over the edge?

According to the Wolf - Spiers theorem of vintage motorcycles, Pannier amendment (Revision B):

You need another Pannier.

Good morning folks,

As an adherent to Mr Wolf's theorem I have managed to collect 7 Panniers so far, but moved on my 2 kits to make room for a couple of Bachmann prairies (1 x 45xx and 1 x 4575) plus a Hornby 61xx.

All eBay buys, which seemed to be bargains at the time.

However, the force is still strong and next year should see the arrival of number 8, the Accurascale 57xx.

Which may make the others look sad 😢

The Bachmann ones will still soldier on though, and the Rapido 15xx is slowly building up mileage on my test track whilst the shunting layout takes shape (layout thread to follow shortly).

Cheers, Nigel.

Edit 1: Layout thread now started in the Micro Layouts area, under the title of Courthouse Green Goods.

It will not reach the level of Kevin's scenic delights, nor those of Bethesda Goods, Aston-on-Clun, Stoke Courtenay or Rob G's  amongst many wonderful inspirations.

Edit 2: Just to be contrary, my layout thread shows a B4 playing with wagons various, kit-built and RTR (Rapido, Kernow).
