Tinkering this afternoon, an ABS Models LNER 20T Coal Hopper.

This must be an old kit, picked it up for $12 (AUD). I ditched the instructions and cracked on. Not bad for my third white metal kit.

All the best for 2019 all, better late then never.

Hopefully we will catch up in 2019.

Many Thanks Rodney.

I am still keen to volunteer for another monthly meet thing, as I did in April.

I hope you will both be at the next MCL running session on the 19th of this month!

I think you may be missing some handrails, Jesse. Have a look at this thread.Dave Jobling has just done a Slaters one over there as well.

Aha! I hadn’t finished it, the small side handrails have been added, Tatlows NE region is plonked just to the right. It’s been cleaned and primer on ready for painting tomorrow!

Hi Jesse,

I'll be in touch about a meeting in 2019. I have two slots available for the year.

John,

I will be in Noumea on the date of the next get together!

I started this Wizards Models NE plate wagon. She’s ready for the paint shop, correct wheels are in need of purchase.

I also quickly knocked up this Parkside LMS CCT van....I’m pretty sure, I lost the instructions.

Plus, one of my Christmas presents, the Bachman C1 from my mum and dad.

Little extension for Brighton Junction.

I have a BR Deltic, A4 and A3, and a BR blue class 50, so I brought some appropriate coaches and decided to make them “muck around” trains. I decided on extending 2 sidings that will be underneath the scenic section, as these trains won’t be used as much. This allowed me to make a small siding for a 2 coach service and leaves the long siding at the back free for use.

I think it worked out rather well.

You are in good company Jesse as the late great David Jenkinson referred to such trains on his layout as "funny trains"

I may be working, hence the reason I have not responded. If work is all finished I may be able to zip over for a quick play. I shall let you know.

That skittle alley looks beautiful.....but I prefer the Deltic and Hoover...

:jester:

Baz

Notice how Funny it is that Brighton Junction still hasn’t been ballasted yet

Many thanks Tony, I’m actually really enjoying the solder kit building compared to the plastic and glue kits. Need to get myself a set of bending bars before doing the DS kits.

The parcel has not arrived yet unfortunately.

Well, if I’m allowed at Wright Towers again then I will surely not say no. If Mo will have me back again, I know it would be a yes from you, (I hope so).
