Unable to view Notifications

Since the very recent (weekend/yesterday) "server updates" I can no longer access/view my Notifications, I just get the "egg time" constantly spinning, although the indicator (white numbers in a red box) shows 22 (currently) new notifications. The same issue is evident on mobile phone, tablet and laptop/PC so I don't think the issue is at my end. Is anyone else having a problem?

Even stranger: if I click Notifications when looking at this topic, I DO get the list of recent updates.

If I go to my usual "7mm+ Modelling" area, I don't.

Ah, yes, I get the same result as you Fastdax, thanks for the lead. It definitely doesn't work from the "main menu" page.

I get the same regarding 'notifications' All else seems to work properly, if a bit slow, for instance uploading a post.

P.S. This has been popping up on occasion when trying to post..

It would appear that 'normal service' has been resumed. Thanks to all for comments/advice/assistance etc.

Seems I spoke too soon. Went for dinner, came back and the earlier problem seems to have returned. I guess I'll just have to be patient.

A possible fix:

I noticed that the link to 7mm+ Modelling on my (Google Chrome) bookmarks bar leads to a page which shows spinning arrows:

http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/89-7mm-modelling/

If I open a new copy of RMWeb.co.uk and navigate to 7mm+ Modelling then I do get the Notifications list. Chrome displays this URL:

https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/89-7mm-modelling/

So it looks to me like the old, insecure server (http) is now broken as regards the Notifications, but the new (https) server is OK.

As a test, i added "s" to the http in another RMWeb link that I keep on my bookmarks bar. Following this link then gave me a page with Notifications.

I have updated my bookmarks to use https and now all operates properly.

I'm getting the same problem with the notifications but the same thing is also happening with messages. All I get when I click the envelope is the spinning thing.

When logging in just now I also got some strange message about "we are transferring you", or something like that. I've never seen that before.
