Hello

Does anyone else have a problem from time to time with the B4 bogies fitted to new tooling Mk2 coaches (and to a lesser extent Mk1's as well) where the wheel sets seem to become dislodged, the pin points of the axles slip out of the holes in the bogie insides and as a result derail?

Never had this problem with B1's or Commonwealth's, just the B4's and it is getting mightly annoying!!

I've had the same issue on a couple of B4 bogies. It doesn't usually happen whilst they are running, but sometimes in transit the wheelsets become dislodged. I'd wondered about fixing a 10thou square of plastic with a hole over the existing one on the rear face to give a little extra depth for the pinpoint, haven't gotten around to trying it yet though.

Yes, had this quite a lot. It’s usually just one axle per bogie that gets out of place. Especially been a pain on my 4TC as it has solid bar couplers too.

I’ll watch both of your improvements with interest to see how they go.
