Deano747
It's a start Ade, it takes a lot of foliage.... Regards, Rob (Deano) 1 1
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted May 31, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 31, 2021 It certainly will. The whole embankment needs trees, plus some near Lovers Lane crossing and then up to where the tunnel will be. It will be a case of buying a few now and again. Cheers, Ade. 2
Andrew P
Looks good Ade. A good tree to try and get hold of is the Britain's OO Gauge plastic trees. They come with separate branches and leaves that you can cover in Woodlands Scenic leaves and fill out with shrubbery to add height and depth. It is what I've used by my level crossing. Try e Bay. 1 1
Andrew P
Meant to say I think mine is the Oak Tree as there are different types.
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted June 1, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 1, 2021 (edited) Made a start on the weathering on the cattle wagons tonight. First a coat of Matt varnish to seal the decals to kill the gloss background. This was followed by a wash of Agrax Earthshade over the body. Then a spray coat of Frame Dirt to the chassis and lower sides. The roof was done with Roof Dirt. Next stage will be working with some powders around some of the rivets and the brake blocks. Once done I will clean the wheel rims. Cheers, Ade. Edited June 1, 2021 by Adrian Stevenson Added text

Deano747
Hi Ade, I'm not sure of your budget, but have a look at Steve Fays Diorama on these pages; some very impressive trees from abroad! ...and some home made! Regards, Rob (Deano)
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted June 3, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 3, 2021 Hi Rob, I have looked at the trees Steve has used. They are very nice, but not cheap. I might make some at some point. My biggest problem is time. Cheers, Ade. 1

Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon where they are stretched out relaxing in the sun and one remarks "there is never enough time to do all the nothing".
