shortliner Posted February 19, 2019 Share Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Do any of our USA modelling members know if Centre (Center?) beam flatcars were built in anything but 72' lengths and if there were shorter ones, and if so, does anyone know who models are made by? Whilst I would like a couple of them in HO, 72' is much too long and unwieldy for one of my small layouts. Hoping that someone knows the answer, or if I am doomed to disappointment. Glorious NSE Posted February 19, 2019 Share Posted February 19, 2019 The early newbuild designs were circa 63', in HO there was an old kit by McKean, and there's been a much more recent and very fine RTR model of the same car by Exactrail.
