Invicta Informant
Thank you to the Beckenham & West Wickham MRC for another very good show at St. John's Church, Eden Park Avenue. For a relatively small show (27 stands all told), they have had some quality layouts exhibit at their show down the years, and this year's show was no exception with The Bridge at Remagen, Fisherton Sarum and Lighterman's Yard amongst others in attendance. Their club sales 'stand' (though area would be a better word) is one of the largest I have come across. Next year's show is on Saturday 17th October 2020 and their vintage show is on Saturday 4th April 2020 (both shows at the same venue). SD85
Good show today. The Bridge At Remagen was the definite highlight, great to watch.
RMweb Gold Graham_Muz Posted October 20, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 20, 2019 Glad you enjoyed the show, I certainly enjoyed exhibiting Fisherton Sarum there and being amongst such excellent layouts. I’m already looking forward to returning next year with Canute Road Quay
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted October 20, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 20, 2019 Is this the club that, more than 50 years ago, had an O Gauge layout packed with Southern EMUs? It created quite an impression at the time.

There were numerous BoB/WC running on the layout and a Q1 that could handle 115 wagons (or probably more if there had been space).
