Hi all

Just a heads up that the film "The Train" with Burt Lancaster is on TV again.

It's on BBC2 at 1550, Sunday.

It's about the resistance trying to stop a train full of looted French art being taken to Berlin.

If you haven't seen it it is worth a look, just for the use of real trains, rather than models for the action scenes.

Filmed near Rouen; an acquaintance's grand-father was station-master at one of the stations used for filming.

Not on BBC 2  Wales

Can't you get it through a Play menu?

It should be available for a few days.

I caught up with viewing it late last night.

Viewing it on a large screen for the first time it was quite revealing in showing up some details of the track.
