I need to dim down the marker lights and lift the headcode a little.

I don't suppose there is a circuit diagram of the pcb and lighting boards out there anywhere?

Would be super helpful.

One point, I note the caps are 16v, that seems awfully close to supply maximum?

Not necessarily - without seeing the whole board, you can't tell if there is a voltage regulator lowering the working voltage of the board to say 5v.

In fact, I should have looked more closely, the component just above the capacitors marked 533 is a voltage regulator.
