Hello all.

possibly a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a Peckett B2 chassis going?

Thanks in advance.

Andy

Depending on your project, an Electrotren Santurce or Barracaldo has a chassis almost equal spacing and size, at half the price.

I do believe the B2 chassis has equal wheel spacing though, which is a nice bonus. Not to mention it probably runs better and hauls more since it's more lower geared and heavier than the Electrotren.

Then again i've never owned an electrotren and may be underestimating it.

Unfortunately the Electrotren  chassis is not an ideal starting point for a saddle tank model. I will keep searching for a B2!

Thanks all.

I believe (subject to confirmation) that High Level are planning a kit for a B2 chassis, so you might (eventually) find that P4 and EM modellers could be willing to part with their Hornby ones? I don't know how soon this would happen, though.

I suggest you buy a complete model, make sure it is a good runner, and then put the empty box and the body shell on eBay. I've done this twice now and amazed myself how much I recouped.
