RMweb Gold tractionman Posted December 31, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 31, 2020 I was kindly bought this beautiful new book for Christmas, it's an absolute delight, packed full of visual material for each NER shed, including extracts from large-scale OS plans, plus track-plans and architectural drawings from the archives, many reproduced in full colour, with informative historical accounts and photographs of each shed. For the modeller it is exemplary. This new NER volume means now a better geographical coverage of the former LNER engine sheds (in England), with the GER and GNR sheds covered in other series (ie those published by Booklaw/Irwell and by Wild Swan)--which leaves a volume for GCR sheds needed to fill the gap...! Well done NERA on a great contribution. cheers, Keith
