RMweb Premium M.I.B Posted September 28, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 28, 2021 On an end loaded van/CCT such as an ASMO, or SIPHON C or F, how were vac hoses mounted? Did they pivot down, or were they connected at the solebar so as to be below the drop down lower portion of the end door system?
Steamport Southport
On the bufferbeam and drooping down. https://didcotrailwaycentre.org.uk/article.php/246/no-105742-mogo-motor-car-van https://www.southdevonrailwayassociation.org/126359.html Jason 2
brossard
Here's how I did my Mk1 CCT: Vacuum and steam pipes were under the bufferbeam, and not through. Routing looks like this: This is the JLTRT 7mm kit. I had to do the underframe gubbins myself since the kit only includes the bare minimum of details.
