@Timmy84 that's a good idea with the file, I went with pencil as I could rub it off if I went wrong, but I'll have to toughen up and give the file idea a go! Sounds like it'll take a wash nicely.

 

@Revolution Ben yes I'm quite happy with that, should look even better once varnished and weathered. It looked a little too subtle on the sheet, but looks better once on the model.
