Photos c/o Frank Cheevers : Signalman Reg Trew at Fenny Stratford....

It is odd that Fenny Stratford seems to have popped up a couple of times recently. My very first home was there, but I was less than three when we moved to Ripon, so I don't remember it at all.

Don was my ride out instructor in 1980 when we were both at Sheffield but seeing as i had been driving for 4yrs under driver supervision (as we all were in those days) we ( 4 trainees ) spent most of the time discussing and testing each other on rules. light refreshments were also taken.

Looks like the engine room window has been smashed. Probably smells better inside for it, the urinal being in that compartment.....

It's nice that some of you chaps recognise some of the crew in the photos - thanks for the comments.

Non standard footware - wouldn't get away with that on today's railway!
