blueeighties
A big Heljan duff that has just been repainted. And yes, before anyone panics and goes into meltdown, I know the water tanks are incorrect. 7

Cheers. Nope, usual Iwata for this one. Finally got the new one out this week for a play...I'm very impressed, lovely to use. Will be a couple of months before the first finished projects sprayed with it come off the assembly line. Really crazy busy at present.

blueeighties
Well. We have had worse weekends! A nice break in Yorkshire, and a visit to the York show on Monday. Topped off by glorious weather. Fantastic
blueeighties
I spend so much workshop time fitting 0 gauge class 37 detailing parts. Love it
blueeighties
For someone who has occassionally built pointwork, but struggled with it, these are a godsend. The new Peco bullhead version. For me, a pretty perfect 'working man's compromise' between traditional code 75 rtr, and dead accurate handbuilt. 2

jessy1692
I do like that 08 sound, probably best out there to my ears, added to the wish list for my class 13.. Great work as always. James
blueeighties
Some Heljan 0 gauge class 37s getting soundfitted. My favoured method is chip in the tanks, large speaker on top of the chassis. 2
blueeighties
And a big Heljan Deltic getting soundfitted. This time with a a pair of monster speakers. One of the trickiest aspects of these installations is ensuring everything is vibration free...lot of air getting moved about!
blueeighties
And back to 4mm sound fitting. I have been trying the range of You Choos 'ice' speakers....they are very very good. Here fitted to a Hornby clas 56. 4 1 1
blueeighties
And this is the big beast that the big speakers were for! Heljan 0 gauge Deltic. Full repaint, detail, weathering and soundfit. 16

blueeighties
Heljan O gauge screw couplings. The devils work. Admittedly easier to refit with a stripped chassis block! 1
blueeighties
And after the fiddly screw couplings, new bufferbeams. 2
blueeighties
I rarely do anything with steam, other than the odd soundfit. This was certainly a fiddly one....the new Hornby Terrier.
