two packages from Hattons today . Two cobalt point motors which I want to try out on the layout in place of the SEEP point motors. I'm having an issue with the SEEPS, where I'm having to throw the switch for each point at the start of an operating session countless times before they will respond, I've tried spraying them with WD40 to keep them lubricated but this seems to have made them worse. I'm hoping trialing these Cobalts will make the points more reliable. The signal is second hand, hence the damage, but this will be repaired and then installed on the elevated section nearest the window giving access to the goods line.

Signal looks good I saw some on hattons but they all seemed location specific and when I've got no layout its kind of pointless

David

I've got another one that arrived today David, thankfully I've been able to find two that suit my layout and in the process I've saved some money.

Hi Simon great angle to film from and the signal looks really good the 20s sound ace.  :sungum:

Cheers Andi, the next exciting episode of Pendeford Yard today will feature more shots from this angle for your viewing pleasure

Thanks for looking

Dave "Thames611" paid a visit yesterday with his rather extensive collection, so extensive we spend an hour unloading his car and sorting out his fleet before we run anything  :O  :O  :jester:  anyway here a re a few selected images from his visit as well as two wagon projects I finished for his visit.

This was the comic moment when Dave realised he was overly fussing about his NSE coaching stock formation

Had some time operating the layout today so here are a few shots, also I have  another OAA to join the fleet, this is the most accurate one I've done to date thanks to a VBA chassis from Andi (Vulcan Product fan).

Hi

I have a quick question: Can you tell me what Gradient you have going up and down to your high Level?

Regards

Matt

Afternoon Matt, of the top of my head I can't remember but if I was to build another layout I'd certainly try and avoid gradients unless I had the space to make the rising gradient virtually un-seeable. The gradients have over the years given me some issues and one of them had to be adjusted as I was having problems running anything with a Co-Co wheelbase over the summit.

Hope this helps

Simon
