wombatofludham
Loving the bot voiceover I think "Graham" was suffering from a bit too much Cock. Cock Marling will keep sending free samples as part of their advertising campaign. He was definitely having a bit of a problem with Wool ver HAM tun Edited August 3, 2017 by wombatofludham

I gather the stock controller is now an ex-stock controller. To err is human, to forgive divine. Cassocks from Hassocks are not big on Divinity. bescotbeast
Thank you for the kind comments, Mark and myself (with the occasional help of Dave) strive to make each video different from the last. On the modelling front I've converted a Hornby VIX Ferry van into a RRX runner wagon for use on my expanding fleet of steel trains. This is the wagon before resprating, the wagon has been lowered and brass bearings fitted. bescotbeast
Cleaning the track ready for an operating session tomorrow, got me thinking about the chemical works that is in the corner by the window. I've not been satisfied with it for some time now, so I've decided to turn it into a steel terminal, much like the old yards at Wednesbury or Brierley Hill. bescotbeast
Well with the loss of the broadband at 5pm yesterday, I found myself with some spare time. So I went up stairs and got on with some good old fashioned modelling. The steel terminal now has a completed office, this was an old Pola Bletchley station kit that Mark donated to me some time ago, it's sat around waiting for a use until now. IMG_2549 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr IMG_2550 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr I've recently bought some stock off the chap whose layout was Wickham Works Junction, two of the BDA's had nylon ratchet straps so after speaking with him, I've now added my own. My own attempt is the bright blue strap on the far right of the wagon load. IMG_2551 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr Here is another BDA that I've added strap too and are just waiting a lick of blue paint. IMG_2554 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr Here is what I was recommended to use. IMG_2553 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr BDA with an over length load IMG_2555 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr 37519 and 20172 were both purchased from Wickham Works as well as a clutch of steel wagons. IMG_2559 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr IMG_2560 by Simon Barnes, on Flickr Thanks for looking. Simon

wombatofludham
Hi Somon. Pretty sure 045 was in NSE liv in the late 80s. Cheers Peter There are photos of it in Large Logo in July 1989 on Flickr so it's safe for 1988! It looks like it received the "straight through stripe" version of NSE sometime shortly after as there is a photo of it in September in the revised NSE livery.
