Wayne 37901
As far as I was aware, the arrows on 37025 were hand painted and not altered class 47 ones. At least that what I read in a reliable source. Cheers,
tractor_37260
As far as I was aware, the arrows on 37025 were hand painted and not altered class 47 ones. At least that what I read in a reliable source. Cheers, My info came from one of the staff who actually worked on the loco during it's repaint. Perhaps the original plan was to use "altered" 47 sized vinyl arrows, but it may have been decided later to just paint them on (badly) ? One photo shows the loco in the paint shop, you can almost still smell the paint ! It would have been very easy at the time to check if the arrows were paint or vinyl..................... 1
Andrew F
Another strange set of arrows could be found on 117. Rather than that awful gap in the middle of 025 the diagonals were over to one side.

rob D2
Nice tractors Neil, What's the transrail one ? I do like transrail for some reason, even though I've always lived in mainline territory M I have a real desire to build a transrail depot based on the sidings at Warrington, but featuring snow, for some reason
class"66"
Transrail depot would be awesome!! Rob the above transrail 37,is 37504 in warn out state of repair..
D6775
Always like to see different tractors, I could do with a couple of dutch ones myself, but they seem hard to come by at a reasonable price! I don't recall 504 ever getting Transrail branding, do you have any pictures? I thought it was converted to 603 before Transrail happened.
class"66"
Guy asked me to make 37504 with Transrail livery. Only one ive seen is 37505 in transrail. Edited November 30, 2015 by class"66"
class"66"
Ive started new 37 project for frend on here,he wanted petroleum sector 37080
Wayne 37901
Bear in mind that 37080 was an RSH built loco so will need the extra bars on the cantrail grilles. Of course it depends on how accurate your friend wants to be. Cheers,
class"66"
Thanks wayne for the heads up!! wil take this on board now...
Wayne 37901
Hi class 66, No problem, happy to help. If you friend decides he'd like it to be as accurate as possible then the extra bars are easy to add from microstrip.
