Train Programmer

Does anyone on here know how to use train programmer

i am trying to reset a dcc loco chip ie cv 8 to 8 

i cannot find anywhere in train programmer to do it 

When you go to program and select CV 8 the write button is grayed out and cannot use it 

any help would be great

I suspect Trainprogrammer doesn't support that option, presumably as different decoder makers have different rules.  Hence it expects you to do that via your own DCC system.
