darrena
Hi Setting up a new N gauge layout for my son using my old N gauge locos (about 25 years old. The old Graham Farish Powerbox controllers are a little bit ropey so I was going to replace them having in mind that fact that we are looking or 3 separate tracks. Any suggestion, I am on a budget and don't want anything flashy :-)
johnb
Probably best to look at the Gaugemaster range they have a variety of DC systems. Having used their lifetime warranty a couple of times they really do mean it, I returned a couple of handhelds that must have been 20+ years old and they came back pretty quickly and working again
ParkeNd
Another vote for Gaugemaster. My N gauge layout is run by a twin track Gaugemaster Model D £69 from Hattons. It works great.
CourthsVeil
Third vote for Gaugemaster – here for the HH = HandHeld unit. 40 £ and quite reliable. HTH Armin
SD45T-2
Plus 1 on Gaugemaster systems. They're affordable, reliable and readily available from model shops.
Brian
Gaugemaster are an excellent DC controller. Without doubt UK number 1 DC controller manufacturer. There is also Morley who produce some very nice DC controllers. http://morleycontrollers.com and of course there are other manufacturers too.
