drs37038 Posted May 23, 2016 Author Share Posted May 23, 2016 Well the layout is now back home from its debut exhibition, all in all the layout ran very well apart from a few troubles with the fiddle yard I was using a cassette system but the connection weren't great and we had some derailments in the fiddle yard so we are going to change these to a standard fiddle yard using track and points, so it looks like the layout is going to grow a bit in length to accommodate these changes. We have made a new fiddle yard on a traversa instead of using the cassette system we had a Manchester due to it not being reliable. Should have some pictures soon. drs37038 Posted February 1, 2017 Author Share Posted February 1, 2017 Long time no update, been busy with other things. thought i best have a look at the layout as its got a couple of exhibitions in march ( Keighley and scout rail at settle). Nothing really changed on the layout apart from I've removed all the peso point motors and changed them to dcc concepts cobalt dcc.
