ScRSG Posted March 1, 2022 Share Posted March 1, 2022 Back now from Model Rail, where we were doing a demonstration this year. Pleased to see people we haven't seen for a while. There was interest shown in what we are currently doing although I did note that Alloa was missed as an exhibit, perhaps next year! One or two visitors did comment on the possibility of joining the group, so if anyone is interested please PM me and I will happily supply more detail. IanN Posted June 1, 2022 Share Posted June 1, 2022 Work has also commenced on the road bridge. The attached luggage bridge will be added later in construction ( I’ve not started it yet). Another small update on progress are the foundry buildings at the North end of Larbert station, still to be bedded in and weathered. The large shed at the north end, while looking overscale, will contain an overhead crane, and the building is in proportion to the others. ScRSG Posted January 13, 2023 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Some more photos of progress, the embankments South of the station have been laid ready for "grassing", this was recently completed after the first main run of point rodding had been completed, and this can also be seen in one of the pictures. All the buildings at the North end have been completed to the basic level, needing weathered etc.. The station house is no longer there so it was good to see you have it spot on I did manage to get a brick from the demolition guys when I went to get some pictures of them knocking it down.
