I have just done a bit of Kit Bashing, the long brick building is several Knightwing engine sheds chopped in half and re assembled in a line, there is still more work to do on the structure.

I have thought about it for quite a while now and decided that the station ( Armley Moor ) should not be there, it did close in 1966 after all which is more than 15 years before the time I am modelling.

The ballast isn't glued down yet where the platforms were and I need to make tire tracks too for the BR road vehicles that carry the P-way staff.

hopefully once the PVA is added and set the ballast wont look so fresh.

looking good Simon, like the look with the platforms removed.

I am liking the look too, I will miss not having the station but it is in keeping more with how I remember the area from when I was young and that is what I am trying to achieve, weather my memory is correct or not is another matter

The class 31 ( 31144 ) by Hornby does not have black doors and cab window surrounds so after a nudge by a freind I gave it a try, I used to be good enough 25 years ago with a paint brush for this type of small job but not anymore :stinker:  I need to strip the black off and do a proper spray job with masking tape
