RMweb Premium jjb1970 Posted February 3, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 3, 2016 Body morphology is an interesting subject as it is true that the size of people has changed significantly. This is generally presented as an obesity problem but it is not that simple as people have been getting taller and bulkier even where not obese. This is quite a problem for many industries where standards for space, safety equipment, weight, bouyancy etc are based on assumptions which are obsolete even if obesity wasn't such a problem. caradoc
Scotrail's Class 334 EMUs give passengers a choice; the driving cars are 2+2 seating whereas the centre cars are 2+3 (Perhaps this car should be labelled for thin people only ?)
