RMweb Premium DRS Crewe On A Mission Posted February 3, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 3, 2016 Hi all, I wonder if anyone could help me please? Has anyone got a full list of the DRS Cumbrian Coast passenger trains that work seven days a week if possible, including where the trains are running from and to, the headcode of the trains, if passengers are on the train or if the movement is ECS, times, for both sets/trains? Please could I also have the same information for the DRS passenger trains that work off Norwich? Thank you very much in advance. Kind Regards, Danny. RMweb Premium DRS Crewe On A Mission Posted February 3, 2016 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted February 3, 2016 Well it is but I don't know where all of the trains run from and to and it could take hours to work out what order the diagrams work in so it's much easier to ask a more knowledgeable person. RMweb Premium ColinK Posted February 3, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 3, 2016 The Northern Rail pocket timetable for the Cumbrian Coast line actually marks the loco hauled services as such. You'll probably be able to download it. If you are going to travel on the services, on paper, you can travel from Preston to Barrow on one 37 hauled service, then change onto the other at Barrow. Its a 5 minute connection, but not always held.

woodenhead
Interestingly the 1437 from Barrow last Wednesday was operating without a DBSO and was pushed (or is the correct term propelled) into the station from the carriage sidings. It's been a long time since I've seen such a move anywhere on the network.
Vin
According to realtime trains it was late into Carlisle by 9mins and because the loco must have run round the stock it didn't head south until 18.01. Another loco would have been useful.
