RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted March 29, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted March 29, 2021 Whilst taking some photos of the station, I thought it needed a few more figures on the left. So this weekend, I've painted and loosely placed a couple to see how it looks. Now to take a few photos to see if that looks better or just too busy.

RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted March 30, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted March 30, 2021 4680 is on the branch today, and is sat next to the goods shed. The drivers caught checking whether anything needs an oil. 20

Your painting of these miniature figures is exemplary. I can see why you keep adding more! I'm lucky if I can get a blob of flesh colour somewhere in the vicinity of the face. 3 1
RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted March 31, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted March 31, 2021 1664 is on the branch today. Its seen pulled up alongside the shed to take water from the tank.
MrWolf
Excellent picture. I like the way it's framed / view blocked by the water tank and the van, it takes your eye along the track and around the back of the loco, giving the impression that the layout is as big as the real thing. 1 6
RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted April 1, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 1, 2021 The photographer has stepped across the tracks to take another shot of 1664.
RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted April 2, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 2, 2021 6417 stands ready on shed raising steam. I presume they must be late off, as the guard has arrived and is reading his paper in the toad, again.
Chris M
Brilliant work, both the modelling and the photography. Quite stunning. I hope you got yourself a lineside pass before taking those photos! 2

I suspect they're late because that fireman's busy drinking tea again...
RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted April 3, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 3, 2021 It must be taking a while as the guards still reading that paper!

RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted April 6, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 6, 2021 A quick look inside the goodshed reveals one of the workers sweeping. Perhaps he's wondering what they are talking about out in the yard? 23

RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted April 8, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 8, 2021 The photographer has made his way back down the hillside as the loco run around its train. It must be ahead of schedule, as the loco has pulled up beside the shed for the crew to have a chat and catch up with a local resident.
RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted April 9, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 9, 2021 The fireman looks back expectantly along the train waiting for the guard, but he's nowhere to be seen! The station master checks his watch in readiness, but without a guard, the train isn't going anywhere. Lets hope the guard's checking the station approach for last minute passengers.
RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted April 10, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 10, 2021 Looks like I need to repaint the figures stood on the platform! I might also repaint those doors, however in my defence, Tetbury was fairly run down in the 50s.
RMweb Gold Popular Post Chris Chewter Posted April 11, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 11, 2021 There must be something wrong with 4680. Only the other day the driver was photographed oiling the front, now its facing the other way, he's dealing with the middle driver, and the firemans brought him the oil can!

RMweb Gold Chris Chewter Posted April 15, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 15, 2021 Single coach trains at Tetbury weren't unusual. Here a 14xx has arrived with a single elderly Hawksworth coach.
