RMweb Premium Moxy Posted March 13, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 13, 2016 Hi Andy, I've noticed a rather strange formatting where some of the posts are all in italics, including headings, for example this thread http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/82812-little-loco-company/page-5 posts 101 to 109 are fine, then everything from 110 onwards is in italics. I only noticed because I have made a post this morning and it appeared in italics straight away. Pages 1 to 4 of the topic, i.e. everything from post 1 to 100 are in 'normal' typeface. This fault was raised under the 'New Skin testing' topic here, http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/108043-new-skin-testing-particularly-for-anyone-whos-had-problems-with-editingquoting-etc/?p=2208958 - it seemed to clear up once the UTF8 problem was resolved, but now it's back again. Andy Y Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 I went for a look and found a special character (which obviously didn't get sorted in the rebuild) in a poster's signature. As soon as I edited the start of the special character string it seems to have returned to normal. The odd thing is that it definitely wasn't like that after I'd posted in there yesterday. All posts from the beginning of March are italic/bold - but not only these: my signature etc.*) too.
