Jammy2305
Good evening! It's that time once again where I try to tempt you with our latest offerings from Bachmann (you never know?!) So, straight to it, here is an overview of what we have for you this time: As you can see, there is quite an emphasis on DCC Sound locos this time around with no fewer than three to chose from! I don't know about you, but that sounds appealing to me! But don't take my word (and awful puns) on the matter - head on over to our eBay page and check them out for yourself! They can be found at the usual place: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html Until next time! Kind regards James C37LG www.c37lg.co.uk
Jammy2305
Good morning! (Just...) It's that time again! This month we have a few new additions to bolster our regular offerings and an overview of these can be found below: I am happy to report that we have some class 37's back in stock, but do hurry as these are already going fast! Our new additions this month include Cat No. 39-050D which is a new release of Bachmann's Mk1 Second Open in Blue/Grey and as such carries a different running number to those released previously. Additionally we have another variant of the OTA in stock - Cat No. 38-300A in Railfreight Red (Weathered) All these and more can be found at the usual place: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html As ever, all proceeds go toward Project 3-60 and getting 37003 back to "as built" condition in time for it's 60th anniversary in 2020 so thank you for your continued support! Until next time! Kind regards James C37LG www.c37lg.co.uk Edited March 8, 2018 by jamesC37LG
Jammy2305
Good evening all! We at the C37LG have a rather spoontaneous sales pitch for you this evening in the form of a pair of brand new Bachmann Class 47's! First off we have Cat No.31-660A, which is better known as 47444 'University of Nottingham' in BR Large Logo livery. This can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162952230064 Our second offering is Cat No.31-663, or rather 47209 'Herbert Austin' in Railfreight Distribution livery. This can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162952227469 Now, the important bit: We only have 22 47444's and 17 47209's in stock and both of these models have sold out in Bachmann's warehouse prior to release. So, to steal a quote from 50 years ago, once they're gone "That's Yer Lot!" - Be sure to get one whilst you can! As ever, thank you for your support! martinC37LG
Hello everyone. Just a little plea from the man who has to pay the soon to be increasing bills from the Royal Mail each month. If you are thinking about making a purchase from us in the near future, (and why wouldn't you!) it would be financially beneficial to both of us if you could do it in time for our trip to the post office on Friday (23rd March) as the prices are rising on Monday. Which is a good time to say: don't forget to buy any stamps you need yourself before then! Don't forget you can find all our goodies here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html We will be making a public update on the progress of 37003's restoration in the next week or so, which will not contain great news, but those of us at the coal face enjoy a challenge, although the novelty is wearing off a bit now! Backed up by all your purchases, past, present and future, we will push through the current road block and get back on the road to recovery. All the best to you, and thanks as ever for your continued support during 2018. Martin. C37LG Chairman.
Jammy2305
Good afternoon! Just a quick reminder that we still have a few remaining models of 47209 and 47444 in stock. As mentioned previously, once these are sold, they're gone and will not be available in future orders. Speaking of future orders, we are currently trying to clear some of our stock before we take any further deliveries from Bachmann, so do take a look on our eBay page and see if there's anything that takes your fancy! 47209 can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-31-663-Class-47-0-47209-Herbert-Austin-Railfreight-Distribution-livery/162952227469?hash=item25f0b5aa8d:g:Wj4AAOSw41Fari8u 47444 can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-31-660A-Class-47-4-47444-University-of-Nottingham-BR-Large-Logo-livery/162952230064?hash=item25f0b5b4b0:g:stEAAOSwzrBari~3 Everything else can be found at the usual place: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html As ever, thank you for the continued support! Jammy2305
Good morning! Just a quick update to let you know that more stock is on its way soon, so keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime, we still have remaining stocks of both 47209 and 47444... However, this time there is a difference with both models currently being on offer for just £124.45 (plus £3.50 P&P), which, when compared to our previous price of £135.95, is an offer that surely cannot be refused! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-31-663-Class-47-0-47209-Herbert-Austin-Railfreight-Distribution-livery/163016519856?hash=item25f48ab0b0:g:Wj4AAOSw41Fari8u https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-31-660A-Class-47-4-47444-University-of-Nottingham-BR-Large-Logo-livery/163016519607?hash=item25f48aafb7:g:stEAAOSwzrBari~3 Don't miss your opportunity by heading on over to one (or both?) of the links provided! martinC37LG
Hello everyone. It's been a bit of a while; but I just wanted to stop by and say thanks to those of you that popped by to see us while we were at the Swanage Railway Diesel Gala last weekend with our gala circuit shop. It makes what we do just that little bit more special, to be told by a complete stranger that they have seen us on RMWeb, and/or have used our services. Anyhow. The surplus items, of which there were not many, have now been put onto our ebay shop, and I hope we can tempt you with something? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html All the proceeds from every sale go towards bringing back 37003 to life in time for her 60th Anniversary in December 2020. We have started stocking a few more lines, but we are keeping these for the gala's at the moment, as I cannot justify passing on the postage costs that would be involved for such small items, on to you. Our next outings for the shop will be the Mid Hants Railway Diesel Gala on 2nd June, and then the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway 50th Anniversary on 30th June/1st July. Do come and see us if you are visiting. Before I go. Our sales manager wanted me to highlight our last ever 47346 in Dutch Livery, with onboard sound to you, which you can find here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153024801830 It has been a good fundraiser, but all good things must come to an end so we can move onto new horizons. There are loads of great goodies to arrive from Barwell in the near future, so do keep watching us. All the best. martinC37LG
With a little under 3 days remaining for our Brush Type 4 duo, 47444 and 47209, on ebay. Can I tempt anyone before we head off to the Post Office tomorrow night? £124.45 + £3.50 (For 2nd Class Signed for Postage) should hopefully get you one for the Bank Holiday Weekend. 47444 can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163016519607 47209 can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163016519856 I have also been asked by the boss to mention our Network Southeast branded MK1 Coach set. Complete with passengers, who I suspect were a lot less stressed than the travellers within in the Network Southest area today as a result of the new Timetable! Yours for only £78 + £3.50 Postage. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153025943364 Don't forget if you buy a second item, we charge an extra 50p postage, but then no more, as our maximum postage charge is £4 (correct at the time of pressing send!) Thanks as always for your support. Martin.
Jammy2305
Hello all! Hope you're all enjoying the summer sun? Maybe it's got you reminiscing over days gone by; of BR blue locos on summer Saturday extras and the days spent chasing them? Maybe you want to recreate that feeling? Maybe we have just the thing for you... Yes, over on our eBay page the theme is most certainly blue, with a range of Bachmann locos and rolling stock to fuel that summer nostalgia. Our model of 37284 (Bachmann 32-788) is looking particularly appealing at just £115.00 +P&P! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-32-788-Class-37-0-37284-BR-Blue-Centre-Panel-Headcode-BNIB-from-C37LG/163059927230?hash=item25f72108be:g:9nkAAOSwLEtYhlTJ Of course it wouldn't be complete without an appropriate compliment of rolling stock so it is a good job we have a fleet of blue/grey coaches for you to choose from! And if you feel like mixing it up a bit for that late 80's feel, our NSE Mk2 stock has proved quite popular too, but do hurry as stocks are going fast! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-39-363A-OO-Gauge-BR-Mk2a-TSO-Coach-NSE-Network-South-East-Livery-BNIB/153049201199?hash=item23a2717a2f:g:cBIAAOSwR2RaHyKo Of course, everything can be found at the usual place so do feel free to have a look for yourself at: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html As ever, thank you for your continued support! brenn
Hi Everybody. We have been stocking Bachmann models for a while now, as part of our fundraising activities to get 37003 back in service on the Mid Norfolk Railway (She currently resembles Swiss cheese, and half her engine is my garage!) and have gone a bit wild with the cheque book for Bank Holiday, so wanted to tell as many people as possible about us to save it hanging around too long and getting dusty. All of our items are available through eBay, but don't worry about us having to stomach the fees. As a Charity, we don't pay any! All prices include 2nd Class Royal Mail postage, and for those of you that may have accidently found us in the past, I hope you'll agree we do a pretty mean bit of packaging! So, if you are in the market for a bit of modern image 00 Gauge Bachmann stuff, then check us out here http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html Many Thanks in advance for anyone that chooses to make a purchase, your support really is appreciated. Keep coming back as well, or subscribe to our twitter feed @c37lg to see what is new. We are expecting another batch of Blue Class 40's and the first of the Green ones next week for example. I will try and post some updates here along the way as well. Cheers for now. Martin do you have any 37 003 br blue left? BW M
martinC37LG
Hi Brenn, and thanks for your question. All the 37003s are long since gone I am afraid. They really did serve us well. We are seriously looking at doing a new exclusive Class 37 next year, as this year has not been a very good one for us sales wise, and this is likely the best way we can make the monies necessary to complete the transformation of 37003 into D6703 by the end of 2019. Cheers Martin. Hi Everybody. rob D2
Sorry to hear the sales haven’t been great . I guess it’s a rather crowded market for normal release stuff . martinC37LG
Thanks Rob. Yes the Mickleover guys have inspired us to look into this. We weren't expecting the plethera of limited 37's announced by Bachmann, so are going to wait till next year. Hopefully we can pick the right model to fill a much needed gap in everyones collection. Cheers Martin Martin It will be interesting to see just how well ALL these LE/Rep's 37's sell ? MMRG hit a home run with their choice of L/E 37 114, but unless already earmarked ? a 47/7 in BR Blue with Grey roof or one of the early named Eastfield Split box 37's in either BR Blue/BR Blue with lower white body stripe or L/L Blue - any of which would fill a gap in what's presently available. GordonC
I wouldn't think it's need to be a split box class 37/0 ... I can't think of there being any centre headcode large logo blue class 37/0s for any depot models been released yet. Already had 37057, 37025 (IS - 2 versions) and 37114 on the way. Personally I'd prefer a Motherwell ravenscraig one, but an eastfield one would be good too. Theres been quite a few Eestfield 37/4s out already Edited June 18, 2018 by GordonC

martinC37LG
Blimey!!! You Guys have been busy whilst I've been away, haven't you Thanks for all that. Certainly food for thought, and we'd never considered doing anything but a Class 37. So never say never. We have received the paperwork from Bachmann to scope things out, so all I can say for now is "watch this space" Thanks again everyone! While I am here. We will be starting to transition some of our older stock back onto our website, as it is easier to manage than on ebay as there are no time limits. For the moment, the limited stock we have on ebay will stay, along with anything new that arrives from Bachmann. So keep an eye on what we are up to on this forum. On our website: http://www.c37lg.co.uk/shopmain.aspx?category=models and of course ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/c37lg/m.html All the best.
