RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted March 13, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 13, 2010 Seems very slow to receive at the moment, Outlook Connector seemed to completely give up last week, so I reset my hotmail accounts to use pop3/smtp through outlook and sent a bunch of test emails at the time to make sure it was set up properly, some of which only just arrived. stewartingram Posted March 14, 2010 Author Share Posted March 14, 2010 Doh! Think it may have been me, but also at the time Hotmail was playing up? Basically I had problems yesterday morning, gave up and did something else. That "something" was my car manual on CD, which has to have the PC clock changed to 2003 before it will work. Afterwards, I reset the clock......to 2009......! Tried again this morning, no Messenger still; got an email on Outlook from someone saying my clock was wrong date(thanks btw, whoever it was!), so reset the date to 2010, and bingo, messenger/hotmail now ok.
