paul 27
Looking for WCML train formations during the early sixties using MK1 TPO stock, what would be used for the rear brake coach MK 1 full brake or ex LMS BG or mk 1 POT, any pictures, also read some where that the colours were BR maroon like the ex LMS stock not the usual post office red, thanks. BR Mark I high-security vans appeared later on in the 1960s and were painted maroon to match the LMS designs. They also had side-gangways.
paul 27
Was thinking of putting an ex Lms BG on the rear or would a Mk1 full brake be better.

RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted September 13, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 13, 2016 Any answers please. You don't say where it is on the WCML that you are modelling. But answer seems to be a GUV if south of Crewe and a POT if north of Crewe but south of Carstairs.
