It's one of the few in the world that I find as interesting as the British network and if the trains alone weren't enough the views out the window are breathtaking. The pictures above were the first train of the trip. Joined at Landeck in Austria, it was a sleeper that started in Budapest. Heading into Switzerland involved a loco change. The last carriage had a great view out the back. I then changed at Zurich and took the long trip to Basel via Olten. Pictures below.
