Kidderminster Railway Museum & GWR Level Crossing Gate Lamp

I e-mailed the Kidderminster Railway Museum on the 15th January this year and so far have not had a reply.

 

I was enquiring if they had a GWR level crossing gate lamp that could be made available to measure and photograph.

 

I appreciate that the museum is run by volunteers but nearly a month and no reply.

 

Can any one help?

Hi Gordon,

 

I'm one of the volunteers at the Kidderminster Railway Museum and I spoke to David Postle, the Curator, yesterday regarding your enquiry.

 

We have an example of the gate lamp in the collection, however it's not currently on display.  If you would like to ring David (01562 825316, between 10am-5pm any weekday) and he will arrange an appointment for you to view, measure and photograph the lamp.
