Dives-Cabourg station in Normandy is open only for the summer season. During the winter months (as in February this year) the station closes. In fact, hot and very dry - with the sun almost overhead near the Tropic of Capricorn, a long freight headed by two class 32.0 1Co-Co1 locomotives waits in a loop at Keetmanshoop, Namibia (October 1985).
