Northpoint
Good evening and welcome to Heath Green. Heath green is a(nother) small teminus model that I have been exhibiting for the past 3 years or so. I can't say it's my latest as Ashbourne (Midland) was built after it. However, I was showing it at Andy P's club open wekeend in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, this weekend just gone and I realised whilst in conversation with another couple of RM Web members that I haven't posted this one. It is 5ft 6ins long with a 4ft fiddle yard. It is set in Hampshire (?) and has a typical track layout with the usual facilites - goods shed, coal siding, bay platform, etc. Traffic is a mix of passenger - steam, diesel and electric - and general frieght. It even has third rail... There's been no magic or dark arts employed - everythjing, as with most of my layouts, is out of the box or off the shelf from all the usual sources. Here are some photos, taken at shows over the past couple of years, which probably say more than I can in words...
emt_911
Great to see Heath Green on RMweb. It is certainly a simple but effective layout with lots of detail. It was good to see it at the weekend.
RMweb Gold John B Posted April 18, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 18, 2017 For a scenic section of only 5'6" it looks incredibly spacious! Like it a lot..
