Standard class bogie wheels

Hello

I believe standard class locos had bogie wheels of 3ft with 9 spokes. Were these plain or bevelled?

Thanks

These pictures any good?:

Thank for those, although I have to admit visually I'm unsure of the difference between plain and bevelled.

Standards are bevelled, yes. If you look at the part of the wheel inside the tyre, it slopes (a bit like an aero rim on a bike, if that makes any sense):

In contrast, on most locos, the same part of the wheel is flat.
