enginelane
Modelling evening at club rooms this evening and looks like it’s a plan. Sample piece works well and drawing of the factory is a good fit. Finalised dimensions of the ground floor so can now finalise the drawings on each module

Boxcab
Not much progress recently due to lack of working space at the clubrooms. Part of our space has been made available to 2 other layouts temporarily, as they are due to be at our Annual Exhibition next weekend. https://www.wakefieldrms.org/exhibition/ After the Exhibition we will have our space back and work will resume on Project O. looking at those baseboards is making my back ache!!!! It must be the angle that you are looking at the screen Ray. They are not that heavy and they are certainly strong, we had one stacked on top of the other and Richard was able to lift himself off the floor holding on to the top ! More updates soon. DanielB
That's HUGE! I love it! Think it'll be ready for Wakefield 2019? We could go opposite each other and have an entire aisle of US O gauge!
JAMO
What a nice and big protection box for a layout! Nice job!
RichardEyre
It looks bigger than it really is. It's only 20 feet long but the box construction makes it seem longer. The plan is to have it finished for 2018.
JAMO
20 feet long: it's a nice length to make a nice scenery and trackplan.
DanielB
Only about 3 feet longer than Piedmont Blues then, so not too bad. If it's also coming to Wakefield 2019 we could exchange freight cars to have a "source and destination" going on!
RichardEyre
Another few hours of track planning today. Getting the turnout templates to fit to the overall layout, easing for the fiddle yard exit too.

RichardEyre
Santa delivered us a selection of 'building prototypes' this year. They were full of toys for some reason so I just gave those to the kids.

RichardEyre
Oh no! It's all getting very serious. I now have in my possession a light meter so we can ensure that each part of the layout is lit to the level we want.

enginelane
How wide is that section? It’s 43 cm wide by 54 cm tall. It’s an end with the start of a plain part of factory module. It is on 1 A2 sheet of foam board
