Salmotrutta
I'm in the process of upgrading my BEMO fleet to DCC and LED lighting and BEMO locos seem to have 3 white lights forward and a single white to the rear. But the locos also have red lights! Anyone en-light-en me on what's supposed to happen with these lights and when? (I have also posted this on the SRS forum too!) RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted July 11, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) Ok the RhB is different to the SBB rules in some cases Three white lights is standard headlight. Three reds on the front is a danger signal to oncoming trains on double track, automatically shown on an emergency brake application. One white, red or no lights will be found on the back of a light loco or on the rear of a push pull train. (Not mandated unlike SBB) Two whites and a top red is a warning that the train is a wide load. On road sections a red light must be shown on the rear. All info from Gion Caprez RhB driver, author and historian. Edited July 11, 2017 by PaulRhB
Salmotrutta
I have now re-wired the locos so that there is a separate LED for the single rear white light. The red lights are now set to come on in the sound equipped loco when it is stopped and the brake sound is activated - fun fiddling with the LokProgrammer...
