 2nd  and 3rd  of September 2017 

 

at Loughborough Grammar School, Leicester Road in Loughborough , Leicestershire.

Free Exhibition Guide included with entry whilst stocks last.

 

30 Layouts, 25 trade plus demo's.

 

This venue is not far from the centre of the town, lying to the south, off the Leicester Road A6. Entrance via Burton Walks.

Regular local bus services from the Railway Station, Town Centre, Leicester and Coalville pass by the entrance. 

15 min walk from GCR., 20 mins from Loughborough Rail Station.

Plenty of car parking is available.

The venue is disabled friendly.

Hot and cold refreshments will be available.

Will definitely be visiting. It looks a great line up and I am looking forward to seeing the Goathland model.

I'm away that weekend but the Great Central Railway stand will be there with the Bridge model, and the actual MML bridge is scheduled to be rolled in on the Saturday night.

Really nice show a good range of layouts.

 

Only minor point it lacked a trader selling DCC equipment.

 

But date in my diary for next year

has won a trophy

A very good show, boosted by having the extra hall. Lots of good layouts in different scales. My personal favourite was Goathland which was a masterpiece.

Good selection of layouts; good food for exhibitors; fair spread of traders and very enjoyable.  Thanks.

 

Goathland was an interesting layout with its special effects e.g. steam rising from underneath the express when stopped in the station and smoke from houses  The Derby layout was also excellent.

Many thanks to all those who attended this year's exhibition .The increase in size to 4 rooms and over 30 layouts was well received.

It was very successful for us with numbers remaining at last year's overall level.

 

An apology also to George for not quite leaving him enough room behind Towcester..........for his toaster !!.
