darren01
Hi I have eleven Ivartt tanks and the other day i was runinng one of the on my test track. It ran forward ok, but when i sent it into revarse it locked up, took it off to have a look and found the chasse had dropped and had a crack in it. Around the crack was a white powder?, checked my other ones and found three that where showing signs of the white powder on the chasse. . Another one has a small crack running across from the cylinders again with his white powder along the crack. I am getting a bit worried that more of them will do this, all the models are keept in stock box and i placed gel pack that absorbs moisture in a dry room. What is happening to my Ivartt's ?. RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted September 7, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 7, 2017 Do you have any pictures ? I've got to be honest in my time I've seen dozens of these ivatts, but haven't known them for corrosion. I have seen them with split axles or broken valve gear In general I've found these tanks to be good, others obviously could have different experiences. It's usually the v1/v3 with split axles and valve gear issues (usually the pin breaking off the chassis making the gear try to float) I've seen more often with problems.
