RMweb Gold Corbs Posted March 16, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2018 You don't need a shapeways account to buy from there, just select 'guest checkout' (I'm not sure why creating an account is a blocker, though).

LNWR18901910
Now that Bachmann has announced the Caledonian 812 Class 0-6-0 in 00 scale, I was thinking of getting a couple of these bad-boys because of detailed they are compared to the Bachmann models which I originally intended to add detailing as well as repaint into their RWS liveries. What are you thoughts? Anyway, Edward is nearly finished and Percy is taking shape reasonably well. I will be posting pics of the models in progress soon. LNWR18901910
Back again with some updates! Edward is nearly completed at long last! Emily has received detailing, too, and soon, her funnel will be finished! Last but not least, Percy has had some handrails added on and his cab has improved, so now a bit more painting on the interior, a loco crew added inside and a front coupling will be added! Stay Happy & Really Useful!
LNWR18901910
Gosh! It's been a long time! Plus, I will be back with some more updates on the models real soon. Emily is complete as is Edward who is nearing completion as well as Percy. Stick around for more as it develops... And here is another taster of a project that is finally back on track (so to speak)! Yes this does remind you of Sparkshot's version of the RWS E2X Thomas, but this is my interpretation of the model as he appears in the later books from Branch Line Engines onward. Also, I used the Hornby Thomas body with the Bachmann Jinty 3F running-board and chassis. It was a challenge getting them to merge together, but it was worth the effort (with help from an actual railway locomotive works, of course). Once it is complete, it will have NWR lettering on the side tanks above the No. 1. I hope you all like the model as the progress goes on. LNWR18901910
And here we have is Emily - she has been upgraded with detailing and glazed windows. And here are her recent improvements: I hope you like this model as much as I did improving it. The cab has been detailed and there is a grated floor from cab to tender. Please let me know what your thoughts are on it.
LNWR18901910
Hello, hello once again! I have been pretty busy and here is some updates on my RWS Thomas model! And here is the NWR Blue livery (decals have yet to be added as would the lining). So, please let me know what you think of the model, so far. I bet Knuckles or sparkshot would be pretty impressed.

LNWR18901910
Looking good!! What body are you using? Thanks! I used the actual Hornby Thomas body which was cut down to fit the flat running-board his book counterpart has.
LNWR18901910
Nothing special, just a brief update on Percy. Also, I recently obtained the Bachmann Paxton model and it looks nice (except the front buffer beam is nearly orange and the rear buffer beam is all black, something most diesel shunters in real-life don't have). Then, I also obtained a Silver Fox Class 28 Co-Bo to make into BoCo. It shouldn't take long, hopefully.

But that’s accurate for his appearance in the show. Is it an issue?
