RMweb Gold DaveF Posted April 8, 2010 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 8, 2010 It was the Abbey which convinced me but I had to check on the second photo as I wasn't sure about the engine shed/water tank. Have a look on Google Earth, most of the branch can be traced as far as Somerford and on to Dauntsey, but the station area now looks to be occupied by industrial buildings and a car park. Many thanks David, and to eastwestdivide too. I thought it might be GWR, that's why I knew nothing about it - I know more about the railway which had crimson lake locos pre 1923..
