Club night 15.5.23 and a little more progress on Middleton Central. Started construction of a new factory building for the fiddle yard board.

Monday Club meeting  29.5.23. 
Was a sunny day so we took the boards outside to paint the backscenes sky colour.

The backscene details are coming along on the fiddle yard board, with the low relief factory nearly completed, adding drain pipes and vents etc.

The DMU stabling sidings now have fuelling facilities, the tanks are made from an old drain pipe, with the loading area details from a Knightwing kit. 
Some modified Portacabins for the crew mess rooms and a new office building which is still under construction.

Club night 19.6.23

Painting and glazing the factory, progress update.

Window frames and brick mortar painted.

Grey primer sprayed onto the corrugated sheets area.

The building is now glazed with a few smashed windows, and dry brush weathered, but still a few more details to add, so still not yet fixed to the backscene.

Club meeting 10.7.23 progress update. 
Working on the centre baseboard, this week with some more low relief building construction.

Slaters Embossed sheets was used for the latest factory building, with a mixture of windows to add interest, some lasercut and also some from Scale Model Innovations. A pitched roof is still to be added.

Monday Club meeting 24.7.23.

More progress with these two building’s. Dave has nearly finished this factory. Roof added with gutters and down pipes.

This building needed finishing of with Roof slates added and sky light windows, also down pipes. 
Will be adding glazing and paint next week.

Middleton Central has been progressing well with scratch built buildings for the backscene all now completed and fixed in position. Interior lighting has also been installed.

Construction of platform canopy’s and station lighting has been completed.
