RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted February 3, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) Recently I've been very fortunate to acquire one of these brutes!  I've been looking for years trying to find one of these 70s Hobbytrain' models. It turned up on German Ebay.  It all stemmed from a purchase in Germany of an Ee6/6 back in the 70s.  A 70s shunting layout beckons. Plans are already drawn up! Salmotrutta
That's got to be one of the ugliest locos I have ever seen! "It's only going to be seen shunting so let's not bother the industrial design team".  Gives it a sort of charm I suppose...
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted February 5, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 5, 2019 Similar to the French CC1100 but in more modern style.

It's brutish and ugly!  Here's the electric version (Ee6/6) at work.   Edited February 6, 2019 by Re6/6
