robmcg Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Hornby used to do free international delivery on orders over £125 or £130 too but no longer, and postage now costs £30. That's from memory. Given that they sometimes offer new models before shops, maybe hey are being less competitive, and of course making higher margins. Another thing which may be relevant to such sales is that there is a bit of a grey area in the meaning of 'in stock'.... as in 'in a warehouse somewhere...'?
