arran
HI All ST Andrews Model railway exhibition will be held and the town hall on the 17th and 18th of AUG , this is a week later and back to dates when the show was held, this misses the showmen and market which in recent years has been more of the pain with the parking on the Sundays being very restricted, so this helps very much with that aspect. Same traders as last year and i will post a full list when i have it. Regards Arran

MRDBLUE17
Hello everyone, It seems to have come round fast but this coming Saturday and Sunday St Andrews is the place to be. I’m delighted to be bringing Rannoch out for the first time in nearly 2 years. I’ve decided to go back to 2006 ish so plenty of tatty EWS 37’s clinging on whilst the 67’s are just being tested on the line and the 66’s are appearing on freight duties. Its a great town to come and visit, lots of nice food so come and make a day of it and hope to see you all there. thanks Mark
Steamysandy
Liked the model of St Andrews which I remember visiting on a School trip from North Berwick High School in 1962.2 B1s and the Television train filled one side of the station as you can imagine and I believe it was the only time it ran between St Andrews and Anstruther.
tigerburnie
Enjoyed my visit to the show, most welcoming and the exhibitors were most helpful with their advice and comments, I also managed to pick up a nice loco too. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and there was a decent crowd and nice to see a lot of younger people involved too.
RMweb Premium Torper Posted August 18, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 18, 2019 Yes, I too very much enjoyed my visit to what was really a very good small show. There was a good selection of layouts including, perhaps unusually for Scottish club shows, a P4 one, and while none of the traders will have got rich on what I spent, I nevertheless got some items that I needed and didn't really expect to find. Hats off to Arran and colleagues - and I was pleased to find that Arran is not the ogre I thought he might be (at least he says he's not). millerhillboy
That was a great video and I thought the introductions really made the video. Much better than a standard footage only video of exhibitions.
