One thing pointed out and you find you need to make comments like this. Very sad. Don't worry though. I won't try to help again. See ya. Dave. Try not to trip over the shoe beam on your way out. RMweb Gold Darius43 Posted June 24, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 24, 2019 Speaking of shoe beams... I should stress that these are an approximation built using plasticard and rod to what I think I see on photos including those kindly provided by Clive, Kier and JiLo. RMweb Premium JDW Posted June 25, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 25, 2019 That's quite a nice model, and benefiting from some extra detailing. As someone else said above, I like the weathering on the front end. Without wishing to go off topic, I think that Dave/dasatcopthorne might have gotten off on the wrong foot here - your first post did read a little standoffish, it might have been better to point out the error and add the "but you could do X" or "X would be more correct" in the same post. Although I think we can see that you were trying to be helpful in the later posts, it's sometimes easy for things to be misinterpreted when reading them online, especially when it comes across as just "haha that's wrong" or gloating rather than explaining what is wrong. Royaloak is also someone who has a lot of positive contributions to make but can be rather blunt and to the point, which can have the same alienating effect sometimes. No need to detract from a good bit of modelling by having a go. Hopefully we've all learned something here.

Cheers Darius I like the driver in his white shirt and tie! Is it summer time or has he cranked the heating up in the cab at the cost of his passengers!!
